N8N Personal Assistant

A private assistant for organizing two Gmail inboxes. It classifies and summarizes messages, sends only critical actionable alerts to a designated Telegram topic, and provides conversational, on-demand review.

It does not send or reply to email. Gmail changes are limited to user-approved organization actions and explicit preferences. Uncertain messages are kept for review.

How it works

When enabled by its owner, the assistant reads Gmail message content and metadata to identify message type, summarize relevant items, and apply mailbox-specific preferences. Classification runs on operator-managed infrastructure using a locally hosted model. The assistant stores message metadata, summaries, user preferences, and action history in a private PostgreSQL database; it does not store full email bodies in that database.

Critical notifications and user-requested review details are sent through the Telegram Bot API to the designated Email Assistant topic in the configured Telegram group. Members who can access that group/topic may see those messages. The assistant does not use email content for advertising or train general-purpose external models.

Messages marked for delayed removal are intended to receive the Gmail label AI/Quarantine-90d and be removed from Inbox. The owner can restore a message before the 90-day purge period. The retention workflow is not enabled while the assistant is being rebuilt.

This assistant is private and has no public sign-up. Its automated email workflows are currently paused during the rebuild.
